Biopolymeric Systems Research Group (BSRG) has been established by Prof. Dr. Emir Baki Denkbas in 1999 – 2000 education period. 

Group research is focused on Nanobiotechnology, Polymeric Nanocarriers/Microspheres, Biomaterials and nanomedicine.  The group has won the “Best Research Group in Science” award in 2009, given by Hacettepe University.
